As a second-generation immigrant, I understand the unique weight of navigating multiple worlds—balancing cultural expectations with the realities of mental health. For the BIPOC community, challenges like depression, anxiety, and PTSD aren't just personal; they are often tied to systemic stress, ancestral history, and the quiet weight of carrying a story that isn't fully your own.
I provide a space where you don’t have to "code-switch" to be heard. My approach blends two powerful tools to help you reclaim your voice:
Narrative Therapy: We’ll deconstruct the inherited narratives society or family may have placed on you, rewriting a story rooted in your true identity, your resilience, and your strengths.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): We’ll work together to understand the connection between your thoughts and your well-being, offering practical tools to navigate the hurdles of trauma and anxiety while finding more ease and safety in your everyday life.
You don’t have to carry the weight of these expectations or your history alone. I am here to walk alongside you as we honor your roots and nurture a life where you can truly feel at home within yourself.

She works with adolescents (16+) and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, mood and personality disorders, substance misuse, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and concerns related to self-image. I specialize in working with adults who struggle with addiction and trauma. Many people with addiction and trauma also have problems with low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Getting through this alone is not easy. I can help give you the tools that can help you fight your addiction, regain your self-esteem, and get you back to living your best life.
Together we will work on skills to help you manage your sometimes overwhelming emotions and the stress of everyday life. We will work together to help you set boundaries where they need to be set and identify your triggers. We will work on communication skills to help improve relationships that may have been damaged because of addiction.
I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I help clients heal from physical, emotional, and sexual trauma, often in as few as one session. This can be done without clients even having to talk about their trauma. ART helps clients take away the painful emotions they experience when they think or talk about their trauma. I am passionate about ART because I have seen how much it has helped my clients. ART is not just for trauma, it can also help with many other mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and addiction. I would love the opportunity to help you.
